Our mission is to offer top-quality, cost-efficient, and customized crewing services that exceed client expectations in every aspect.
Sourcing Skilled Seafarers
Our approach ensures that every candidate undergoes a meticulous screening process, which includes psychological evaluations, guaranteeing that only the most competent and skilled seafarers are presented to our Principals and Clients. The selection process, tailored to the Owner/Principal’s requirements, ensures a seamless and rewarding experience. Upon receiving authorization from the shipowner or manager, we take responsibility for the following:
- Examining previous employment records to identify seafarers with exemplary performance histories.
- Verifying and, if necessary, renewing Licenses, Flag Licenses, and training certifications to maintain compliance.
- Facilitating comprehensive medical examinations, including drug and alcohol testing, in alignment with the Principal’s or Ship Manager’s standards.
- Preparing all required documents and managing departure procedures, including visa arrangements, to ensure seafarers are ready to join their vessels promptly.
- Conducting pre-briefing sessions and specialized training to enhance competence, professionalism, and workplace behavior.
Medical Screening
Our seafarers are required to complete Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol testing, in accordance with STCW standards and the company’s pre-employment criteria. These evaluations, conducted at authorized medical facilities, guarantee that deployed crew members are emotionally, mentally, and physically fit, as well as free from any substances, ensuring their readiness for onboard duties.
Encouraging Professional Ethics
We promote the core values and attitudes necessary for success in maritime roles. Through culture-building programs, ethical training, and shipowner-specific briefings, we instill professionalism and safety-focused conduct among our seafarers.
Orientation Before Deployment
Myanmar Oversea Co., Ltd provides comprehensive pre-departure orientation for all crew members. These sessions cover essential topics such as:
- The types of vessels they will serve on.
- Their roles and specific responsibilities onboard.
- An introduction to the company, its code of conduct, and safety protocols.
- Standards of behavior, professionalism, and adherence to maritime protocols.
Additionally, the orientation emphasizes commitment, dedication, and loyalty to the vessel, its owner, the cargo, and fellow crew members.
Documentation and Compliance
Our skilled administrative personnel manage all aspects of documentation processing, from visas to ticketing, while liaising with relevant government agencies, such as the Department of Marine Administration. This ensures a streamlined and efficient deployment process for seafarers.
Crew Rotation Program
For efficient recruitment and deployment, we maintain a well-organized rotation program that is regularly updated. Myanmar Oversea Co., Ltd monitors the vacation schedules of crew members and maintains a list of individuals requiring additional training or skill enhancement.
